Effect of temperature and pH on growth and sporulation of both Local isolates of biological control fungi Metarhizium anisopliae and Beauveria bassiana

A laboratory study was conducted by using two local isolates of biological control fungi M. anisopliae and B.bassiana that isolated from the soil citrus orchards infested with Mediterranean fruit fly Capitata ceratiris in Baghdad to know effect four different temperatures included 15, 20, 25 30 ° C levels pH, including 5, 6, 7 8 on growth sporulation liquid medium. Results showed highest fungus at 20° C, average dry weight was1.19 gm best 25°C ,it 10.3×104 spore/g, while higher for B. bassiana 20 °C , they were 1.11 2.7 × 104 spore / g, respectively, results /pH 7,they 5.9 3.38 them when pH5 ,they 3.9×104 3.8×104 /g surpass production both chitinase proteinase enzymes depending decomposition aureole diameter, 15.76 11.37 cm, compared M.anisopliae which amounted 14.17 4.36 cm respectively.
